Break-Out Mentor List, Being Intentional About Your Growth

So in 2020 during COVID I had some extra time for research and study. Yes those were truly interesting days. Many of us discovered new focus areas. Some of the inputs I was getting was saying that I needed to be more intentional about my growth and success.

One of the tools I created for myself during that time was my Break-Out Mentor list. It was a basic Word doc with a couple of columns allowing me to note the main mentors I was focusing on. If I was going to break-out in greater success and significance hen who was going to journey with me and push me beyond my current levels?

Essentially I was being more intentional about my growth

The people that got onto my list were the people who were going to help me Break Out into my next level. Lance Wallnau, Michael Hyatt, and some others featured very prominently.

So whose on your list of mentors right now? Who would be the three most influential people you are following right now?

So if you’d like to start using a list to note your learning just download the list below, print it out and start keeping track on your engagements with meaningful mentors.

So a new mentor who’s made it onto my list recently is Ed Rush. Ed is an ex Navy pilot who flew F18 Hornets on missions in the middle east and he’s a real go-getter. He’s a solid believer so he brings Godly Wisdom and The Spirit into his coaching as an executive and entrepreneurial advisor and coach.

Other people you may be following may be success coaches like Brendon Buchard who’s got some amazing resources out there. Something that’s been valuable to me in selecting mentors is that I need to connect with them on a values level. So if I value authentic faith, for example, I’m not going to subscribe to an atheist no matter how successful or good he looks. Sorry that’s just me.

Fewer mentors are better than an armload of them. Rather follow fewer but follow fully, than only partially follow many.

For transformation you typically need an immersive experience if you’re going to succeed at re-wiring your brain and establish some success habits. Ed Rush Has a 21 Day Miracle book available on Amazon who will get you going in the immersion method of creating new habits and breakthrough moments.

Should you want to explore what personal development with a coach looks like please each out to me. Be blessed and enjoy your journey.
